At Mobile World Congress 2013, the Open Mobile Alliance presented the future of wireless with demos from across the mobile industry. M2M, Rich Communications Services (RCS), Small Cell Networks, Future Internet, Enterprise Cloud Solutions, Federated Social Networks, Augmented Reality, Mobile Advertising and Location-based Services (LBS) are all enabled by specifications developed at the Open Mobile Alliance (OMA).
Guests learned from Comverse, CSR, FOKUS, Gemalto, Huawei, Interop Technologies, Invisitrack, Red Bend, Sensinode and Telecom Italia about how they deploy innovative services using OMA Enablers, as well as how the entire wireless value chain comes together to deliver open specifications for next generation mobile services. At OMA Demo Day, attendees heard presentations and browsed live, groundbreaking demos featuring OMA Enablers from OMA member companies.
