Open Mobile Alliance shows off M2M technologies at MWC

Monday 25 February 2013 | 14:24 CET The Open Mobile Alliance (OMA) is demonstrating new technologies at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. Participants include Huawei, Telecom Italia, Interop Technologies, Comverse, CSR, Sensinode, Fraunhofer Institute for Open Communication Systems (FOKUS), Gemalto, Red Bend Software and Invisitrack, covering topics such as M2M, mobile federated social networks, rich communications services (RCS), small cell networks, future internet, augmented reality, mobile advertising and location-based services. Telecom Italia will show an OMA-DM M2M gateway, using device management standard infrastructures to help integrate M2M in the smart home.
