V1.0 Functionality

Version 1.0 of the specification covers:

LwM2M Client reports application data to LwM2M Server.
LwM2M Server sends application data to LwM2M Client.

This document expands the LwM2M protocol by defining an Object and mechanism to transparently transfer application-specific data between the LwM2M client (device) and LwM2M server to support application service data exchanges between the Application Client and Application Server.

Please note that this object should ONLY be used in those circumstances where the use of an existing or proprietary LwM2M object is unacceptable.
